Hurricane Preparedness

In preparation for hurricane season Crisis Care Network’s Disaster Response Leadership Team has increased readiness to care for the individuals and organizations within harm’s way. A summary of activities to increase immediate scalability includes:

  • Tactical adjustments to our Disaster Response Plan Guidelines to outline multiple contingency plans as indicated by this potential disaster.
  • CCN staff and auxiliary staff placed on readiness alert status over the holiday weekend.
  • Proactive communication with customers to assess exposure and coordinate response efforts.
  • Adjusted internal and external communication planning.
  • Increased technological and communication capabilities to increase data management.
  • Contact with select impact area and geographic “second tier” CCN Specialists for readiness.
  • Adjusted Customer client summit and client consult content specific to this situation.
  • Engaged our multi-media partner for production of the Disaster Response Monitor briefings if indicated.
